3/4/J Event - 68km

Despite a chilly start to the day, the support race got off to a sunny start in mild and still conditions. Despite a few moves and solo efforts, nothing was getting away from the pack today and it was looking to be a bunch sprint. With 2km to go, Maciej Weremko (Bedfordshire RCC) broke free and quickly gained 20 seconds, hanging on to the draggy finish to come in 1 second ahead of a fast closing pack. E/1/2/3 Event - 121km

A bit more cloud cover for the main race, but similar conditions to the morning event meant that not much was let go. A promising break of 6 riders formed mid race, but never got more than 15 seconds on the bunch. The expected split on the last ascent of Clare Hill never materialised and so unusually there was a bunch gallop for the line, with Simon Gaywood (Corley Cycles) a clear winner.
